Luke 15:11-24
The Prodigal Son is today perhaps the most famous parable in the Bible. In Jesus' day, the story was famous as well. A familiar Jewish parable told the story of a younger man who leaves the family and squanders his inheritance in a far off land. When the son returns home, he is not welcome. The message was clear, if you leave the family, you're on your own. But when Jesus told the story, he changed the ending, and surprised his audience. Watch this parable - ask yourself, "Where would I be if God wasn't willing to welcome me home?"

    John 1:14-17
How we handle time is our individual choice. Sooner or later we all mess it up. It is then, when we know we are truly responsible for the mess we have made, that we most need God's Grace.

Watch this parable - ask yourself, "am I a person of Grace? of Truth?" in which order?

The nature of God as revealed in Jesus is an unbelievable combination of Grace and Truth. Without grace we would be our in the cold forever, without truth we wouldn't even know there was a place of warmth.

    Luke 7:36-50
What greater calling is there than to expand our capacity and practice love? Love cannot be forced, compelled, or instilled. Love can, however, be inspired. Unexpected, undeserved grace is a powerful motivator. Jesus' parable of the two debtors, told in Luke 7 reminds us that we have the motivation - we have been forgiven a great debt, now it is up to us to go love. More Info
